    Hi all,

I will be travelling abroad and it turns out my hotel will not have an Ethernet cable to plug into my android box for streaming etc.

What is the best way to get a good stable internet connection for the box?

Hotspot off the phone? Would that be enough to stream programs films etc (all legal of course).

Don't use your phone, unless you have unlimited roaming data (or at least a decent allowance), or perhaps buy a local PAYG SIM and use that in your phone while you are streaming. Does the hotel have WiFi, and could you use that? Streaming video is the biggest gobbler of data

Hi spocker, the hotel is saying it has Wi-Fi but I know from previous experience that the WiFi in the rooms is generally shite and not good enough to stream.

Im probably better off finding out who has the fastest network in that area and getting a PAYG SIM card and hot spotting off the phone then?

Depending on how your watching the shows, can you download them onto the box before you go and just play them when your there? No need for WiFi or hotspots then.
