My ps plus is up in August, i wonder how i can upgrade to 2nd or 3rd tier. I can't see myself shelling out 120 a year though. They'd want to hava a pretty hefty catalogue of games.

From 22 June, you’ll have access to a catalogue of up to 400 of the most enjoyable PS4 and PS5 games, including:

• Death Stranding

• God of War

• Mortal Kombat 11

• Returnal

• Marvel’s Spider-Man

• Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

• And many more to be announced

Please note that new games will be added to the Game Catalogue every month while others may leave the service.

Slight typo there. But yeah it was 400 games. The 1 referred to the small print.

Just getting stuck into the ps plus collection here myself at long last. Never had a ps4. RE7 is good but God Of War is outstanding. A special game.

Going to try to platnum GOW as I loved all the previous games. Im doing the mountain trials in the fire realm. Getting my ass kicked a lot.

And if you have both subs currently active you will get the top tier until the later of your 2 subs expires. You may want to stack subs if you qualify.

When the new service launches, you will pay one recurring subscription fee, instead of two. The payment date will be based on whichever of your subscriptions has the later payment date.

I might be being completely stupid, but what is the benefit of stacking the subs? Is there a substantial saving at the moment? From what I see, the pricing is roughly the same?

If you have 2 years of plus and one year of Now when the conversion takes place you will have 2 years of PS+ Premium. If you add a few years of Plus for €60 a year each it will extend the subscription allowing you to stay on the Premium tier for longer at half of its €120 subscription fee.

Yeah, there was a way to subscribe at the start of the month through the direct link but Sony have disabled that now.

So I assume the trials are like the ones where you play the first 2 hours and then you can unlock the full game with progress carrying over? Wonder if the trials are one off. Like you can only play for a max of 2 hours even over multiple playthroughs or does it reset every time you start a new game. Not sure how other trials worked as never tried more than once. I know you could abuse it and get really far with plenty of practice, but it would also be handy for games with different character types like an RPG. Of course there are games with a lot of long cutscenes so have to choose whether to watch and use up the time or skip them and the story. Wonder if the devs could make the cutscenes unskippable during trials.

Though if I remember correctly, weren't they testing trials previously where the clock started as soon as you clicked "Download"?
