    Hi,

Family of 4 flying into Pisa, Italy 11/07/2022 (23:50 arrival)- 18/07/2022 (20:30 departure).

Looking for a car similar to Opel Astra or VW Golf, getting crazy quotes, cheapest so far was €734 and most expensive was €1,050.

Any site recommendations or experiences with Car rental in Italy in the last few weeks.

Also, we are arriving late into Pisa (23:50) I take it that most car rental places will be 24/7?

    Thanks,

    Bobb

Pisa is a small airport and it's schedule is dominated by Ryanair. See the inbound schedule here...

There are six inbound flights in the schedule for this evening (Wed. April 20th) between 11:30 p.m. and midnight (all Ryanair) so there probably will be some rental desk(s?) open late but your choice is likely to be very limited. The earliest scheduled departure today was 6 a.m. and the earliest arrival was due at 8:10 a.m. so it's unlikely that any rental company operates a 24/7 desk.

Rented in Italy a few times and this summer it seems to have gotten mad expensive. Going to get a transfer this year as probably wont use the car much if I had it. In past years it was cheap enough to just pick it up anyway at airport.
