Looking for an affordable S Class Merc S350

I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to buy an S Class. I have a 7 seater daily driver that’s great, and I’ll keep, but want something a bit more luxurious for fun. Petrol S350 I think would be best. I’ve been looking online at years 06+ (W221) and prices are pretty high. Is there any savings to be made importing for NI or Uk these days?

Not for the likes of that. You will be walloped on exchange rate and vrt.

If you find them too pricey at 16 years old, the best advice you'll get here is don't buy one at all. I wouldn't.

I'm just comparing prices to a few years ago and wishing I'd bit the bullet then!

I know it's not the best investment I could make but feck it.

Then wait for the next recession when prices will fall again. What goes up must come down. That could be a year away or 5 even 10 years away do. No one knows.
