Is there anyway to pay for something but then not pay for it but still get it?

Normally I would not even consider something like this but I bought an electric bike recently and the bastards are messing with me now about oh the battery was with it even do it was not. I paid enough for it already. I do not see why I should pay anymore.

Could I do it using a Credit Card and then cancel the credit before two weeks or would they still get money?

I’ll try decipher your riddle. Bought an electric bike, paid a bit for it but received a different model than advertised with a better battery and now the shop want the difference owed.

If that’s the case, you owe them money or hand back what you got and get all your money back.

To answer your question.

No. The credit card company takes on the debt. If you then "close" the account the credit card company comes after you. Your credit rating will be damaged. The bike shop will still have got their money.

How did you pay in the first place. IF you paid by CC you have a couple of months to do a charge back as you didn't get what you paid for.

When was the direct debit payment taken? I think you can request a refund within 8 weeks.

Ha lol nope my bike has 3 wheels and a roof as well as alloy wheels and a drilled disc brake. It also has a radio a heater and seatbelts. It is not that commen here but its perfect for me.

Contact your bank and see if they have a procedure and deadline to apply for a chargeback. You can get a charge back with a debit cards within a time frame.

Are you sure the battery was included? It's not uncommon to have to purchase a battery separately with some things.

Post the link to what you bought, I'm not familiar with electric bikes.
