Gutter Mount Roof Rack with High Clearance.

    Hi,

    I'm looking for a gutter mount roof rack with at least 8 inches (210mm) of clearance.

    I'm not carrying anything heavy, just a light kayak. I have an unusual soft-top roof so the clearance is necessary.

    The following would work: https://www.rhinorack.com/en-us/products/roof-rack-extras/roof-rack-parts/legs/rl-leg-x2-_rl210, but I don't think they make it anymore.

    Are there any roof rack specialists in Ireland? Or any other suggestions (apart from a trailer).

    What kind of car is it? Would a marine supply like CJ Deevy's in Waterford be a better place for something like a kayak than a motor factors?

    Thule are probably the best brand in terms of reputation for roof racks, they surely do gutter mounts as well.

    8 inches of clearance is unusually high though, but they have a fairly wide range

    Deevy's in Waterford sourced something for me and much less than I expected.
