There is a consultation running until Friday 29 April about the proposed installation of speed ramps at 4 locations in Dublin 15.

    1) St Mochta's Link Road, Clonsilla, Dublin 15 - 1 No. Additional Traffic Calming Ramp (near StationCourt apartments).

    2) Clonsilla Road, Ongar, Dublin 15 - 1 No. Bus Friendly Ramp Zebra Crossing Markings (at Hansfield Wood, between St Joseph's Centre and big roundabout).

    3) Beechpark Avenue, Castleknock, Dublin 15 - 1 No. Bus Friendly Ramp Zebra Crossing Markings outside CETNS (Castleknock Educate Together NS).

    4) Lower Road Lucan - 4 No. Traffic Calming Ramps (just west of where the laneway from Sandpits exits).

    5) Castleknock Avenue Dublin 15 - 10 No. Traffic Calming Ramps (the road parallel to Laurel Lodge Road).

Not surprisingly the Castleknock Avenue proposal has gotten strong in the submissions (5 of the 6 strongly against). I measured Riverwood Road where it has 8 ramps - about 1 every 100 metres. Castleknock Avenue is about 600 metres so a ramp every 60 metres.

The clonsilla Rd, ongar one is welcomed, but it's a cheap cop out, as there's already a large badly made ramp there and the footpaths or lack of are a complete joke.

BUILD A FOOTPATH FROM THE ROUNDABOUT TO CLONSILLA STATION SO I DONT HAVE TO CROSS THE ROAD THREE TIMES! YOU BUNCH OF USELESS C YOU NEXT TUESDAYS
