Hi everyone,I am planning on returning from Australia to take up a senior audit manager role, or possibly director level role, in a top 10 accountancy firm in Dublin. I may well overlook the big 4 firms for personal reasons and opt for a top 5-10 firm instead. What kind of salary level can I expect in Ireland?

I dont think you will get a string of audit managers rushing to answer this.

The last salary survey I saw would say 68-75k for an audit manager in Dublin. I guess it depends on how anxious a firm is to fill roles at that level.

It will depend on the firm I think. I'm not sure who exactly makes up top 10 but I'd imagine there's a bit of a drop in salary as you go Big 4 -> GT, BDO, Mazars -> remaining top 10.

I would say a base of 70 for a snr manager is the minimum of what you would be looking at depending on specifics and number of years experience and area of expertise. That will probably be higher now with inflation and competition in the market. There are certainly plenty of roles available.
