Registry Office - backlog

How much of a wait is there for registry office wedding? Is it possible to be put on a waiting list for cancellation? Is there any other registry offices in Dublin or Cork besides the city centre ones? I know Limerick is booked up until October.

Bray, County Wicklow and Naas, County Kildare have a Registry office. Dublin only has one. Places filling up very quickly because of backlog from last 2 years. I was very lucky to get one of the last dates for September in the Dublin office. Best of luck
