    We have a Stuart Turner pump sending hot and cold water to the firsrtfloor shower and taps. Over the last year it has been taking ages to cut in when a tap or shower is turned on. Does anyone know a company in Limerick that services these? Thanks Andrew

    It would be usually a plumber that would sort it out. Phone around to a few explaining the problem.

    @jimf Know anybody Jim?

    It's an old pump. It might not be worth repairing. Plastic body which means not an expensive pump to start with. A reconditioned one can be purchased if funds can't stretch to a brand new one here: https://st-pumps.ie/product/stuart-turner-st66-twin-positive-head-pump-fully-reconditioned-with-12-months-warranty/

    Thanks @Wearb. I have contacted two local plumber to me and have no interest in dealing with pumps/small jobs. Thought of getting showerdoc but they seem to be Dublin based.

    Sleeper12 (above) works on this stuff all the time, so he advice is likely to be very good.

    It might be easier to get someone just to replace it. Keep phoning and look for some recommendations from local dedicated plumbing shops.
