I've heard a rumour that there is life in Ireland.

Yes it sucks. Every country is starting to suck. They don't want to build any more houses in any place. Even Greenland

There is a fooking housing shortage in Nuuk. The emptiest country in the world has a housing problem. No doubt it is a problem artificially created by Green-minded politics there as well. Inflation is everywhere as well. In the 2008 recession people could still run away to Canada and Australia. Now those places have started sucking as well.

The amount of hand-wringing and crying on here is incredible. We are right up there as one of the best places to live in the world, yet to listen to some posters we are shovelling our **** into latrines every day.

Property tax is what I'd consider a "Freedom buyback scheme"

The government comes along and says "you know that house you've been living in for most of your life? well that actually belongs to us now, but tell you what, for the low low price of 500 quid a year we'll leave you alone and you can stay in it"

the owner says "well you do control all the boys in blue and the army with all their guns and I don't want any hassle so I'll just pay it"

expect to see your annual spend on "freedom buyback schemes" increase as the boys in Davos & Bilderberg meetings keep inventing new ways to make us spend all our money but without having to give us anything for it in return.
