    Does anyone know what the story is with the Shannon test center...

    It says it's in the Oakwood hotel, but also says it's in an industrial estate 4 minutes drive from the the hotel

    It’s not at the Oakwood, it’s just beside the Crossroads Pub, you should see it on your left as you drive towards the Crossroads.

    Would be much simpler if the RSA simply gave the address of the test centre. 1 Fergus Road, Shannon. They should realise most everyone are now familiar with Google Maps and/or sat navs

    Hi,


    I did a Google search for "rsa driving test centre shannon clare" and got the results posted.


    Best bet, give Treacy's hotel a ring Tel.: +353 61 361 500 


    Perhaps hotel was closed down during Covid and temporarily used Fergus Rd. Now back again in 4 star hotel./


    RSA should give the Eircode for test centers. Will be part of the driving test shortly - using a sat nav

    This rsa test center has been closed for a couple years.. why it's still listed is beyond me.

    I drive past the house that’s used as the test centre, it was done up a while ago and doesn’t really look like it’s being used as one anymore to be honest.

    So emailed the RSA to check out the situation...

    They rang me back, and I was basically told, the address you are given is the test center, and when I asked about the Google map and Google search results giving 2 different locations(so 3 different locations total)...her suggestion was to do a drive by the the hotel to see...

    I rang the hotel and the center is in the hotel, just to the right of reception...
