Simple way to find routes on Strava and sync to Garmin device

I have gone into courses in the app and searched but nothing comes up.

Something that should be easy seems ridiculously hard not helped by the multitude of apps out there not allowing easy sharing of routes.

I have the route on ridewithgps android app and the options are save or share. When I try to save it looks for me to pay. When I try to share via bluetooth my compatible devce won't show.

It is the Westportif routes.

I have found them on Ridewithgps but there is no option to sync with the garmin device.

I am giving up, have spent the last hour googling it.

If only you could search and find these routes on Connect or Strava in the first place. Maybe it is because a lot of people including myself set routes to private.

I am kind of surprised that more race organisers and Strava don't come together to have race routes freely available for people to sync.
