I am looking at a new car and getting really strange valuations, just wondering what people think it should be worth

BMX X5 7 seater xdrive25D

110k km's on the clock

Car is in perfect condition with a full service history but not a BMW history

That is for M Sport models being sold by dealers. OP has an SE model and is a private seller.

Lately the market is filled with private sellers thinking their car is worth a fortune, advertising at prices higher than dealers.

I’d agree with the other poster €37k is more realistic.

Im trading in, I doubt I will sell private as too hard with the type of money it will be sold for. Currently getting circa 40k as a trade in but was hoping for more as its against a new car.

If you are trading in then the only figure that matters is how much they want from you to trade up. You need to shop around to compare.

Not a chance I’d pay that for the baby x5 with that engine.

Sounds like the OP is blinded by the trade in figure. Work out the cost to change across different dealers for the same new car.
