I’m contemplating Gallagher to an Everton mid today-it’s a 5 for 1 if you include the single game day captaincy v Newcastle. The only thing holding me back is I’ve used a lot of transfers already this week (3 so far and planning James/Silva in for the Norwich game).

How many transfers left, I have 12. In my 2nd team I took out Gallagher for Rudiger so stuck with 5-3-2 in that team now. I think it's a nobrainer for you to be honest. That's how you will make up the places. Just a case of picking the right one. I will have to look at it to see who I can bring in that makes sense.

Yeah with the title race still on I will probably also now stick with Laporte. I had TAA up until recently but moved him on to facilitate another transfer. My Kilman to James move above would leave me with a back 5 of

Cancelo Laporte VVD Rudiger James

No room for TAA currently but he would be straight back in if James started getting rested every other game

Yeah on Kilman and Wolves, I think Wolves haven’t been that good defensively and Sa was keeping the clean sheets together for them up until recently. If I knew James was starting both the Norwich and Newcastle game id be fairly confident he would outscore Kilman over the 3.

Fair point though on getting nailed on players like TAA for the rest of the season. It could definitely be the play over James. Will you just be going for 1 Chelsea then?

I wouldn't be surprised if Kilman was dropped for the Watford game, he was subbed off early at the weekend. The kick off is 730pm though so we will get to see the team sheet.

My approach is to hang onto Laporte and Cancelo anyway, get Rudiger and see what that ends up being. I don't want to waste two transfers taking Laporte out and putting him back in again. As Dearg said above if Kilman gets dropped then that is a Chelsea asset for me since I have Raphinha already for the Friday match next week. Have to decide what to do with Bowen as I still have him. Not sure I want to get rid of him either if he is fit.

Ah not really tbh - i have a plan in mind for the short to medium term. I could well imagine myself getting Laporte back - probably around gw33 or after. So i'll probably be doing Bruno to Kane later, then Laporte to Rudi on Thursday.

Is it too much of a luxury transfer for those of us with Son, to make the switch to Kane at some point?

I wasn't far off putting in Son for someone last night and ignoring Saka. Kinda wished I had. They both looked very good last night. Are you able to do your plans going forward if you put in Kane?

Yeah, can still fit in all the usual defenders that I’m looking at if I go Son to Kane.

Debating the following chain move:

-Salah to Kane on April 3rd (2 for 1) to double up with Son. Let Salah miss the City game. Then Son back to Salah for the Villa game.

Cancelo missing tomorrow's CL game with "sickness" is a bit of a concern ahead of Monday's single game day v Palace. Could be just a case of Pep giving him the day off with a 5-0 lead from 1st leg. I'm somewhat hesitant though to move Laporte to Rudiger now.
