Noisy Neighbours

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a company that can monitor / produce a report on domestic noise for a noise nuisance case in the District Court. My solicitor advised this would lend weight to the case but I am mostly finding commercial companies or ones who monitor large scale premises.

I doubt that you will find anyone who solely monitors domestic noise, there is no market for it. You will have to see if any of the companies you found will do it.

Can you not record the noise on your phone or get a camera with noise activation?

Can you give us an idea of what sort of noise your neighbour is generating? I ask as what they are doing may be considered reasonable. Some folk have a higher tolerence than others.

In my own case (we had an issue with a neighbour and won the case), I kept a detailed log of what they were doing and at what time. I also had CCTV camera's that recorded sound as well as investing in something similar to this so I could record what we were hearing in our home:

many thanks - I have just had cctv fitted and can invest in that machine you suggested. It is a combination of a lot of things unfortunately making my life hell every day !
