Ryanair have cancelled the first leg of our two flight journey - **update**

And they’re on the same day, with a three hour wait in Vienna.

Ryanair have agreed to refund the second leg Vienna-Dublin as they deemed it to be a connecting flight. It was painless in the end 😁

Yes, booked separately, but as part of a connected journey, Kalamata-Vienna-Dublin. I dealt with a person via chat, and asked are you sure I’ll get a refund and she replied that yes, they viewed it as a continuous journey, A-B:B-C is how she wrote it in chat. Both amounts have now been deposited in my Ryanair wallet, which I can withdraw and refund against my payment card.

BUT, other members of the group who were travelling together are not having the same success so far. One has been told over the phone that no refund will be given for Vienna-Dublin. Another couple got one flight refunded, but not the other person’s. I’ll post an update if we all get our money back.
