Yes and I don't know why it is even called a 'walking' route as there's not much to walk on.
Maybe over half of it has disappeared into farmland, private farmland, and you won't be thanked for walking on it.

Maybe little sections are do-able but all disjointed.
It can't be walked end to end without crashing through hedges and making diversions around peoples' houses and things. A look at google maps will confirm this.
