Hi, Can someone share info on this. A van of Uk Orgin, for sale in NI. garage The garage has said it does not attract import duty. Can someone confirm this~???? This below his the line from the garage It’s out of GB but we can register it at risk of export with the UK revenue and use a waiver against it to offset the…

This below his the line from the garage

It’s out of GB but we can register it at risk of export with the UK revenue and use a waiver against it to offset the import duty, just VRT to pay your end. euro 200

Seems like they are possibly talking about removing the UK VAT from the sale. But you will still have to pay 10% customs and 23% Irish VAT when you import it
