Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, our kids have had a great season at hurling. The trainers and managers have been unreal. As a team of parents, we’d like to get them something unusual and thoughtful as a thank you. We’d rather not give the a photo of the team in a frame unless there’s a quirky or unique way of doing it.

    any ideas? Thx

    Hii...

We got a team photo done, into a photo holder (like a birthday card) and got each player to sign (autograph 😊 ) the opposite side of the card,.

So when you open up the card , the team pic is on one side, and the players autographs are on the opposite side facing it.

Speaking as a coach, what would be a nice thank you for a job well done at the end of a long season would be to gather a fiver each from other parents, go to a licenced establishment, and then tell the coaches there's 120e left in behind the counter of Andys Bar for ye to go have a night out.

A team photo... Nah you're grand thanks chief, have 120 of them already on my phone

Ah classic - A booze present. Screams ‘thanks for being good to young kids’ - now go get pissed

What's your suggestion... Some scented candles? A pair of socks for all the coaches?

It's not very unusual or quirky but maybe a sports shop voucher?

Something like that is better than the usual Irish default of booze
