Exercise Bike Recommendation

At that budget I would look for a second hand commercial gym bike like a spinner or a keiser M3. Might be hard to get at the moment though!

I also have the schwinn bike mentioned above. I love it.

If you have an road bike already, it might be worth your while considering a turbo trainer. It effectively turns your road bike into an exercise bike. Prices start from around 60 euro. You could then purchase a zwift subscription (Around 8 euro a month), it's an online virtual world that you can cycle around and has many training programs. More expensive turbo trainers can recreate the effects of the gradient in the online world. You can also race other users if that's your thing!

Just to add to this in case anyone else is interested in buying the Schwinn IC8 - I tried fitt24 as mentioned above but no dice. This bike caught me when researching. I read there are discrepancies between the power output when using Zwift? I can't find any information if this was fixed?

My wife and I are both having issues that may be alleviated by the use of an exercise bike. My own experience of exercise bikes involves only upright bikes that mirror 'ordinary' cycling. My wife is interested in the idea of a recumbent exercise bike where the seating position may apparently be more comfortable for someone who does not cycle very often. Has anyone any experience of comparing the two styles or any valid comment / suggestion as to the pros and cons of the different styles?
