As the title goes, would love to hear any suggestions or creative recipes to use up my Bailey's! Something other than cheesecake preferably, unless it's a damn good recipe!

    Thanks!

I have two bottle of the bloody stuff on my shelf!

Suggestion 1 - brandy and baileys with a lump or two of ice - utterly delicious, but will blow your head off

Suggestion 2 - I dribbled some over some lovely brown bread ice-cream - nom nom nom.

Not exactly earth-shattering or gourmet recipes, but it'll use up some of it!

Here are a few ideas from down under. If it's good enough for them..... You have to forget about calories though.

    Bailey's Tiramisu is great

It's also really good added to hot chocolate.

    Nice problem to have! 😉

Agreed, I will happily provide a loving home to any Baileys that needs rehoming. I’d hate to see unloved bottles of Baileys languishing at the back of a cupboard!

I've a bottle of red velvet Baileys here, gorgeous on a decent vanilla ice cream

If you were McGyver you could probable make a chainsaw, a high power drill and a 4-by-4 all wheel quad bike.

Drizzle a small amount (about half a tumbler) lightly over 2 cubes of ice... Let it settle... Consume...

Gotta say, I love using it in cheesecake (https://www.scienceisdelicious.net/baileys-and-milk-chocolate-cheesecake is what I use).

Also great as an ingredient in icecream, whipped into cream, made into a ganachey sauce, added to hot chocolate...

It keeps well for about six months, but after a year it's still ok for cooking (and for drinking, you don't notice the drop in flavour until you open a new bottle right after). Most recipes really only call for a measure, so depending on how long you have left, you may be better off giving it away. (Not sure if you can still get minatures, but plan for those next year ;) )

Truffles, I make loads at Christmas but good any time of the year. Also lovely in buttercream for a chocolate cake but I'm afraid my favourite is a cheesecake too!

Lovely in a cup of coffee.

This is simple and you can pass it off as expensive artisan icecream.

A tub of vanilla icecream, crush two crunchie bars, mix together with the icecream and a generous glass of baileys. Refreeze and impress your guests.

    Bailey's bahhhh....Coole Swan is where it's at.

Belfast Bombers, as the first reply says, is the only way to go, unless you are partial to a Baileys and Toblerone cheesecake.

Layers of chocolate chip cookies (soaked in baileys) with layers of whipped cream, refrigerate for a few hrs and serve! Simple and tasty!!

Use it instead of milk in coffee.

A dash added to milk and cornflakes is a delicious treat

https://livforcake.com/baileys-guinness-cake/ I would make up some baileys ganache for this cake, or even for some buns... it’s heavenly.

It's so good mixed with coffee liqueur over a couple of cubes of ice, Kahlua or Tia Maria are worth splurging on for one of the nicest long sipping treats there is.

Or go the whole hog and add some Grand Manier for a B52. The posh people’s Tequila Slammer. 😆

Thanks for the tip, I will definitely try that.........sounds like one of those nights where getting to bed requires crawling up the stairs on all fours! Bet it'll be worth it though 😉

Shot glass, layer of Tia Maria then with an upturned teaspoon, a layer of Baileys. A final layer of Grand Manier. Down in one. 🤪

Sambuca and Bailey's is a surprisingly nice combination.

Oh no, I'm in big trouble now because I love Sambuca, the black one to sip till my face goes numb or else the white one with the flames playing havoc with my fringe. Life is good, don't you think?!!!
