NCT today and log book gone missing

Hi all, I have my NCT later today in Naas in but we can't find the logbook ANYWHERE. Will they allow it to be tested? We've just recently moved after Xmas so logbook may have been packed away or dumped.

I’ve never been asked for it, you need to bring ID though.

Same here. Always bring it, never been asked for it. Just ID and the money!

Never been asked or had it with me,not sure I even know where it is,just bring your license.

In the unlikely event you have the full current cert bring along and say nothing... it may be first test...

Never asked for it and never seen anyone else being asked for it.

Possibly it's only if there's something not matching what their screen says.

And I always have used Naas.

You won’t need it unless there’s any issue with the chassis number, which is extremely rare.

Just to update...

All okay no log book needed, just showed the booking text on my phone and didn’t even mention the log book.

oh and the car passed!! successful day all round!! 😄
