Ok looking for peoples opinions on this. Almost at the 50 year mark, worked construction most of my life and cant/dont want to go all the way to 67 in this industry.

What second language would be the most beneficial to earn a living from ? As I see it, i can learn while i work, not alot of outlay in the beginning, basically just need determination to succeed.

You can’t make a living by just learning a language…. Once you are fluent you’ll need to do something with it:

    • Teach, offer grinds….
    • Translate
    • Interpret
    • Life and work in a country

Generally speaking fluency would be around a B2/C1 level and that would require about four hours schooling and work a day over say about two years, so not exactly an effortless exercise. And of course you’d still need to add skills to do the actual job.
