Howdy, hoping the Limerick Hive Mind can help me out. Need to buy a domestic radiator - Is Screwfix Limerick on the Ballysimon road open or did that get taken over by the Covid testing centre?

A domestic radiator - please try somewhere like A&R Supplies, PJ Matthews, Ger Malone, Heat Merchants or Pat Nash for it before heading out the Screw Fix.

I go to A&R supplies a lot, but didn't think they'd have radiators. I need this this evening.

I'd imagine all of the Plumbing Supply companies I mentioned would carry a stock of rads.

I since called into A&R supplies and they have a showroom, but I didn't see any stock visible. Maybe they had some upstairs.

What I did see online was some of the prices were significantly higher in Heat Merchants/McMahons than Screwfix.

Were you comparing like for like - same quality rad, etc?

BTW, if I was buy a rad or something like that I wouldn't be looking at their showroom, I'd be asking over the phone or at the counter if they have it in stock and the cost.
