Heel Cuts (One Shoe Only)

Hi all, I've recently taken up running after many years of attempting. There's a lovely flat 5km woodland trail close to home so I purchased some cheap Nike Juniper Trail runners as it become soft and wet underfoot at this time of year. Hi all,
I've recently taken up running after many years of attempting.
There's a lovely flat 5km woodland trail close to home so I purchased some cheap Nike Juniper Trail runners as it become soft and wet underfoot at this time of year.
To me the fit feels fine but I feel one of them digging into my left heel every so slightly and I now have a cut on my left heel after a couple of wears.
Anything that I could get like a heel liner or grip to stop the digging in?

Try wearing compression socks or other tight fitting socks made from synthetic material.
