Motocaddy Issues

Hi all, I have an old Motocaddy, which up to recently has been working fine. Recently though, it seems to be stopping/starting a bit during rounds....as if its losing power. Im wondering has anyone had this issue before, and if its simply a case of getting a new battery?

If you are not sure the battery is dying it could be a clutch starting to fail

Had the same issue myself recently. Got the switch which controls the speed replaced.
Problem solved.
