Firstly Happy New Year fellow Boardsies!
So in Lidl today, went to get a trolley. Discovered I had no one Euro coin or trolley coin in my bag. Hubby suggests I take my house key off my key ring. It works! How is it that I have reached the ripe old age of 54 and only just found this out!!!!!

A €2 is not the same thickness as 2 stacked €1 coin. Neither is 2 stacked €1 coins the same width as a €2 coin.

I loved maths as a kid. Today, at 38, I learned that getting a percentage of a number also works backwards, ie:
8% of 25 = 25% of 8

I think I'll 3d print a load of €2-shaped bits of plastic and leave them in when I finish the shopping. Less hassle than returning the trolley
