Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Horrific driving conditions over the last hour between Athenry and Athlone. Driving rain made visibility very poor and there was thunder and lightening. Finally seem to be out of it after passing Moate. Glad to be heading Eastwards.

Happy New Year, to all on the weather forum👍

Just back from a walk, lovely crisp dry air, it's drying up the ground nicely after a damp week.

Some of the snow that fell here 48 hours ago is still lingering on the grass and on one of our cars.

Shows that the temps have stayed fairly low since then.

    North Tipp 120m asl.

    Wet Snow

Light, occasionally moderate snow in Trim, Meath. All non gritted surfaces have a full covering now. Pretty decent area of precipitation moving towards the eastern coastal areas, primarily North of the m4, for the moment anyway.

As I type, it's still coming down at a moderate rate at Mullingar so I'd imagine there'll be another 30 to 40 minutes of snow at my location in Trim.

Partly cloudy start in Greystones. 2.7c atm. Only evidence of anything wintry here is an icy balcony surface! Something fell and froze.

Surface lightly covered with snow in South Tipp, but coming as rain now, so it'll be cleared shortly no doubt.
