Stone cladding labour cost

Hi all, We're putting 40 sqm of 30mm stone cladding on new blockwork and the labour cost is coming in at nearly €5,000 inc VAT. Now maybe I'm underestimating the amount of work involved but it seems very high. There's no complex angles or work at height here. Any feedback on that price would be welcome thanks.
