Kendellan's first start? Nice one. Hoping for a bit more fluidity in attack with Casey and Healy together. Tho Connacht's approach couldn't be more different than Castres, so should make for a much better game. Especially with Carty making it as well. There's been a bit of spice to this the last few encounters.

Good looking Munster back row (Kendellen and Coombes!) and look forward to see Ahern off the bench. Connacht still short a bunch up front: Thornbury, Buckley, Boyle, no Murray but that may not be injury-related. Sorry Wooton isn't playing and would have been nice to have Blade on the bench but still a lot of threat in the back line and Farrell on the bench. C'mon Connacht.

Surprised Munster aren't going stronger for this. Leaving out Beirne, POM, Murray and Earls would suggest they're targeting the Ulster game next week and not this one.

I fancied Connacht before the team announcement but I can't see anything other than a Connacht win now.

I was just observing that they've chosen to rest all of their big names bar De Allende for this particular match, clearly with an eye on next week,

Not sure if that's the right call as this match will be much tougher than Ulster at home IMO

Great see teams being named again, it has almost a mini lockdown but these teams are men against boys, I'll take any point we get from this fixture but I can't see a win on the cards for us.

Munster need to come out of the blocks strongly.

If its a close game on 50 minutes i fancy connacht to have the edge over 80.

Munster are a bit like a french team now, you dont know which one will turn up. If its the mindset that went to coventry a BP win is possible, if its the conservative side with no fluidity that played castres then connacht will bring a lot more than castres did and get the win they should have had in TP.

Big day for casey at 9 to show his game, I always love watching aki and delighted yhat coombes is back, but a lot of legs havent done 80 minutes in a long long time.

He just let Connacht absorb three big clear outs there when it was clear that Munster were holding on. Stuff like that would wreck my head as a coach and player.
