Crew cab Pajero

Hi All, I tried to find the answer by searching but can't.

I'm looking at buying a passenger Pajero up north, converting it to crew cab for legitimate commercial work. If I purchase it from my own funds & just put the company name down on the tax document will that be ok? Or does it have to have the company on the log book?

Somebody that knows more will be along shortly but I thought that loophole was closed now?

I think the initial loophole was closed by BIK being charged on any personal miles but as I have another car there won't be any.

The regulations around crewcab conversions have gone very tight. They haver certain requirements for what qualifies now.

The tax renewal is sent to owner as per logbook.

That aside it was always a bit more effort than simply a company taxing a vehicle to avail of commercial tax on a crew cab conversion.
