It’s difficult to find good tv on RTE, they probably have one or two things worth watching, but today my uncle, who is a lovely man of 82, gave me a TV guide, and Brendan ocarrol is on the front dressed up as a woman. At this point I would probably only turn on RTE if Michael D Higgins or Daniel O’Donnell died, just to see the reaction, they did a few lovely pieces when Big Tom died, reporting live from Castleblayney, but I haven’t watched it since, he was a nice man and was well loved in his community, it was good that he got a nice send off, and the statue looks very nice, I just googled it and it was unveiled in September 2018, a nice bronze statue

Saw an ad the other day for Doireann Garrihys prank joke thing. Looked painful.

There's some kind of documnetary on RTE1 at 9.30 about toys. And it's hopefully Tubridy-free.

What is it about Christmas that tv schedules are simply awful celebrity specials or low-brow shows?

Why can't they at least air an odd modern classic film, or new premier, instead of the same rota of the same films every year? I am being specific to RTE here, no surprise.

Horrendous tv lineup for christmas. Absolutely terrible. I see Casino Royale is on yet again tonight on RTE. How many times has that rubbish been on now? Craig is a terrible bond.

Enjoyed the Saw Doctors documentary "Sing A Powerful Song" last night on TG4. Hard to believe that it's 30 years old - originally shown on RTE and Channel 4 back in 1991.

On the TG4 player for a month.
