Boots.ie Non-existent customer services.

In the run up to Black Friday, I made several purchases from Boots.ie. Three weeks later, 2 of my purchases have not arrived, and third one did, but it was not what I had ordered. I emailed them and got a standard generic reply. I called their 1800 number, and was left dangling for over 3hours, at which point I gave up. I have messaged them on Twitter and Facebook, and have been studiously ignored.

Has anybody any suggestions how I can make contact with a human being in Boots?

They do reply to Twitter DMs, but slowly.

And the first thing they will tell you to do is to contact boots, to try and get it sorted. This isn't like America.

The OP has already done more than enough to try and resolve it with Boots. Once you can show that you've made a reasonable attempt to contact them you can open a chargeback. I've done two chargebacks through Revolut where the companies didn't respond to emails and I got the money back without issue.

I always try to pay with PayPal where possible. It's much easier to claim money back through them rather than a chargeback. The free returns are also very handy.

My general rule is two emails and if no response chargeback or PayPal dispute. I only persist further if I really want the item and can't get it elsewhere.
