Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Eddie Hot water diverter grid voltage reading

    My Eddie regularly shows a grid voltage dip to 80-90v and spike to 260 or so volts a neighbour has one and it shows similar. I contacted ESB networks and I think they just checked the voltage and it read the same as mine at the time 233v and said it was fine. Does anyone else with an Eddi see these sort of readings?

    This is interesting. I've noticed the same on my Eddi. High of 249V, low of 49V.

    However, the same reading on my Zappi (connected via Henley block from my Meter box) shows High of 250V, low of 196V, which is more realistic. Because of the way my setup is wired and the position of my CTs, my Zappi is always grid powered, unless the house is "exporting" on a sunny day.

    I suspect the low voltage is coming from the inverter but I cannot prove that, nor do I know how frequently or for how long that low voltage period occurs.

    My inverter has been disconnected for the last week or so, long story but I still see the similar figures 260v peek with a 180v dip. I'm the same in that I don't know when or for how long it occurs anytime I've checked it's in the 220-240v range. I don't think the inverter could cause this as the grid should make up for any drop its responsible for unless it occurs when the current directions switch e.g. import to export and vice versa?
