Fair to say every knock on advantage for Munster gets kicked away now, don’t let it come back for the scrum

The Wasps lineout is a shambles. Their hooker isn't staying on his mark and it looks like he's throwing crooked every time. Poite isn't picking up on it though.

Also, De Allende is having a shocker.

When you're scrum is a shambles not dropping the ball all the time would be wise.

Joey is also having a poor game.

Jesus, the last thing that’s needed is stupid dropped balls.

    Hodnett you beast.

Shields in trouble here. Replay also shows they were miles offside

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,348 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

I'd say yellow for Shields as he doesn't have time to dip after his teammate tackles Kilcoyne.

But Poite is looking an awful lot at the replays. Think it's red.

    Harsh? But will take it.

Ach rooting for Munster here, but that red is harsh.

Carbery is having an utter shocker.

    Carbery! That's woeful.

Carberry having a poor game. Should be leading by example

BT talked through the laws and leaning in to it having to be a red, especially with the drive up from Shields.

Theyre then shocked when a red is shown.

It is a red though, I dont see how you can argue against it based on the facts. High, straight to the head/neck area with force and the player standing up straight.

    Ah Joey.

Turned over after going on a solo jaunt. Leads to a Wasps try.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,119 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

You knew how that was going to go when Carbery was brought to ground...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,771 ✭✭✭✭Red Silurian

This is very very true, makes me wonder if he's thriving under the different (better?) Clermont coaching staff

Regarding today's game, does DeAlende still play for us or what's he doing on the pitch in the red jersey because he's not playing rugby

Okeke was far too passive too at the ruck. Just delayed for a second but by then it was too late.

Is Farrell allowed push the Wasps player without the ball there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,119 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

This is the only kind of game that this kick would work!

I mean Farrell only pushed him because the first wasps player cleaned Farrells legs from under him. Those collisions happen on every kick through and nothing is ever given. Earls got cleaned out on one earlier because a guy misjudged a bounce

    Lol

    This game is bonkers.

Ah, Clegg, you’re focusing on all the negatives when there’s loads to enjoy in what is a mad game!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Wasps throw in was a mile squint. Presumably the no compete let poite play on.

    Beirne looks injured.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

That guy dived past the ball and missed the ball entirely, the ball was behind him by the time Farrell had his hand on his back, he was never getting round to it.

That was as mad a first half as I’ve seen in awhile! The young lads can’t be faulted for lack of effort. That defensive effort around 15 mins was unreal.

POM and Hodnett playing brilliantly, Beirne too. The red seemed a bit harsh, but he was very upright so always a risk, but that, and now the yellow for the next 10, could make it for a very interesting 2nd half. Bench is a worry, but if we have a lead to defend, you never know…

Would love to see Joey show a bit of control now, and pin Wasps in, but who knows what the hell is likely to happen in the 2nd!

Rugby is in big trouble if its going to be red cards for that.

    Big, big trouble.
