Only option for RB is leave Perez out and if he keeps cutting corners to stay ahead of Hamilton then so be it.

    Even Brundle can't defend this.

Verstappen went into the corner so aggressive and took up the whole corner forcing Hamilton out wide

The FIA have already decided that.

Will be interesting to see if Perez comes into play, you know Mercedes would definitely play dirty with Bottas if roles were reversed but that’s not really in Red Bull’s DNA. Given how Mercedes have already cheated so heavily this race they might choose to fight fire with fire.

Perez slowing down is a massive gamble, assuming he can fight Hamilton

If Max’s move pushed Lewis off, then Max doesn’t deserve any benefit. Lewis gaining more time a Max’s fault.

Realistically how much can Perez hold up Hamilton when he’s on ancient softs

As Brundle said: "That used to called motor racing", but not anymore.

Nope, Lewis could have just waited before applying the accelerator.

If Hamilton was to get a penalty a 5 second one would more than make up for it.

Always be a cloud under this title win now, real shame for the sport that poor stewarding as has been the case throughout the season, has decided the title.

Here we go. What can Serg do here?

Verstappen got what he deserved. He never attempted to turn in just kept the car pointing forward in what looked like an unnatural manner. So, the only conclusion you can come to is that he was deliberately trying to force Hamilton wide and hoping he would end up well behind. Why did he not just race, turn the car in and complete the pass? He had the advantage.

How did perez get ahead of Hamilton? Hopefully he holds Hamilton up.

As I’d said before the start, I expected Lewis to win as Max would crack under pressure. The stewards decision was ridiculous though, and has made a balls of the race!

Lewis gained huge ground by going through the run off, and it’s it’s a pity that the stewards call today will be the talking point of this season! Max got screwed last week with penalties, it’s the inconsistency that is frustrating!

You didn't listen to Rosberg explaining corners and advantages at start then.....

Looking at the race pace of the two, it looks like a close race isn’t really on the cards. What really cost Verstappen a closer race (so far) was his start.

Perez putting up a good fight

No Lewis that’s not dangerous driving. That’s some good driving from perez.
