Mp3 player recommendations TF card

Browsing for a cheap Mp3 player with a decent memory. Looking online there are some that require a 'TF card'. Is this the same as an SD card? Are they complicated to use compared to an Mp3 with internal memory? Thank you.

TF is what companies who don't want to pay the SD licence call a microSD card.
Most are identical to function to units with internal memory. Some with split storage are absolutely horrible to use as you have two sets of everything.
