    I’m very tempted by that . The 39mm op wears so well.

    My understanding is that style of box was used until 2013 and was then replaced by the modern style Rolex box with the full internal flip inside the lid.The 39mm op was released is 2015?? So good chance it was a watch only purchase by ichrono , then tidied up and serviced with some paperwork and a box added , seems to be a common enough thing for them to do.

    You could very well be right about the history there. From a quick google, the model was indeed launched in 2015. Sure fire me a PM and we can exchange details and you can come have a close look at the watch yourself and report your findings back here on thread 😁


    And you're right it wears really well even on a larger wrist and if you are used to bigger watches. I guess the watch is all dial and very little bezel as opposed to most other Rolex sport watches

    Adverts has turned into donedeal . It’s a cess pit now unfortunately. It used to be hassle free selling a watch now it’s not worth it .

    To close the loop on this it was genuine thankfully , watchfinder verified it as part of a trade now they gave so little for it it may as well have been a knock off ! But I digress.

    shame you had to shift it with watchfinder, they never give big money for items like that, whoever flagged it on adverts as fake either hasn’t a clue or it was just malicious

    I can see a scam here.. they tag it as fake and then make you an offer at a ridiculous price and they have a cracking legit watch for peanuts

    Well whatever happened it’s not related to tag heuer in anyway, they don’t care about the used market at all

    the only people checking adverts for replicas is the moderators sometimes assisted by bored watch enthusiasts

    That looks more like a cease and desist warning and adverts moderator pulled it rather than risk any further action over something in the listing rather than saying that the watch was counterfeit.

    i had a similar email from 20th century fox years ago regarding a dvd
