What age to get a junior cat fixed?

My girl is 7 months, it’s not normal mating season but would I be better off get her fixed before Christmas? she’s outdoor for a run round every day in an apartment complex and she’ll go back to her old family and mother at Christmas

Sounds a wise and sensible idea, to and it will give you peace of mind at a busy time... the sooner the better ..
and in my experience mating in cats is not limited to any one season.

The recommended age is between 5 to 6 months. If your cat is allowed outdoors, don't delay - get her done immediately. She could already be pregnant.
