Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Rare wild out here. Storming and swearing, gusting and growling. All the long night long. Stormed in and bitterly cold. Seeing met ie's forecast.. But all in readiness. Chicken soup on the stove... All welcome. Stay safe..

    The winds today were in Cork were strong enough to blow my windows shut (big heavy tilt and turn triple glazed things).

    It probably should have been a status Yellow in Cork City.

    Mild enough this morning 6.4c at 9am. Overnight low of 3.1c and a grass frost with -0.4c recorded. No rain. Sunny with patchy cloud here in southern Laois - another lovely day for December on the cards.

    One thing of note is despite this dry weather - pavements are not drying out and everything has condensation on it.
