Patching shed roof

Old sheep shed, 1980's vintage. Some small holes rusted in tin, some roof lights blown out over the years. Right now, I'd just like to do a patch up job from underneath if possible. No experience with this. For the tin, would patches cut to size then liberally covered with Tec7 and stuck underneath keep water out? Not sure how to approach the roof lights yet tbh, have to confer with the brother in law. I'm not going up onto the roof. I do intend to get the roof properly done in the future but the communion money won't just stretch to that this year.

Yes patches and tec 7 from underneath will be perfect, I done it years ago, I may have pop rivvited them too, (but that was only to hold them till the tec 7 dried) can't fully remember though.

Flash band tape is also good. Using it on top

A good cleaning with a wire brush and works well

If they are just pin holes I wouldn’t bother with the patches and fill them with tec7, can do this from inside shed

As. For roof lights we just got a few new sheets of galvanise and slid them into place securing down with tech screws. But you need to do this from on the roof.
