I have had a tenant 27 years and they only got told they would get a property within the next year. She has had a medical condition the whole time. I am not sure what medical priority actually means and if she was on it but should she have to wait longer if somebody is a priority?

It depends on the condition.
I know someone who has what I would call a severe condition who has been waiting well over 10 years with medical priority at this stage.

Will depend on the council in question where the house is - they all vary.

Medical priority definitely helps for sure.
27 years is VERY long!
I hope they get sorted soon though.

They had a stroke about 15 years ago. Lost the use of an arm and a leg. In a wheelchair since.
Theyve also got other long term illnesses now too.
