Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does sharing this work okay? Access on 5 devices it says, is this all under the same login?

  • Registered Users Posts: 453 ✭✭Dont Be at It

Yep, sharing works. It's under the same login.

Half price is for 3 months only? That's what I'm seeing anyway.

The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.

The Entryism process: 1) Demand access; 2) Demand accommodation; 3) Demand a seat at the table; 4) Demand to run the table; 5) Demand to run the institution; 6) Run the institution to produce more activists and policy until they run it into the ground.

  • Registered Users Posts: 453 ✭✭Dont Be at It

Link in the first post is 50% for 12 months.

I subscribe to The Times/Sunday Times (UK) for €5/month. The Times app is very good for reading the full paper even on my phone.

The last time I subscribed to The Irish Times I found it awkward reading the epaper. Is this still the same?

Does the digital content on the app give all the articles in the epaper?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,907 ✭✭✭kala85

How do you get the times app to read the full newspaper. Does it give you the full print version.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4 Idonotcare

They updated The Times UK app (android) recently so I reverted to an older version that I liked.

With this version I can move between editions, supplements and content easily. For example I can select Sport and scroll along a menu which gives me all the articles in that section.

So in a way it's like the full epaper but much easier to move around.

I think it's a better app compared to The Irish Times.

    A little off topic but....

I see that the Irish Independent online subscription are offering a Black Friday offer of e138 per family (&Friends) for the year for the Premium+ Sub (includes epaper access). If anyone is interested send me on a PM and I can set up a Family. Must be able to Revolut or Bank Transfer your share (e27.80) and Join a Sub Family group on Whatsapp for info and updates. Ill set it up as soon as I have 4 paid up members. Thanks
