    Bray Head and Wicklow Mountains seem to be holding the cloud at bay. Mostly sunny here (also) in Greystones. 8.2c atm.

    Overcast day and boy did it hold in that cold. After an overnight low of -2.6c in the Stevensons' Screen and it only rose to 5.8c according to the Davis (which incidentally was +0.3 with yesterday's max and last night's min). The air was almost flat calm all day too, just a light air filtering down from the NW with a top speed of 4mph.

    Currently +1.6c here in southern Laois. Might scrape another air frost if we hold onto the moonlight.

    Ended up with no rain recorded (in Greystones)....just enough to dampen surfaces. Can see clearance arriving now. 7.2c atm.
