Is Woodside Park a good area in Kildare?

A friend of mine has made an offer on a house in Woodside Park after visiting the house and talking to lovely neighbours. This weekend, she was told by others that this is not a good area of Kildare? Any feedback would help.

I don't live there but I used to pass by it every day and I never saw or heard of any trouble there. It's a great location right beside the train station. I can certainly think of worse places in the town.
Hopefully someone more familiar with the area can give more feedback.
