Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Mate of mine just put a deposit on a duplex appt 1st floor up here.

His solicitor has told him that the management company has mentioned pyrite in their discussions and she is not willing to sign off on the sale, saying he will have to sign a waiver of some sort.

He is now freaked out and doesnt know if he should go ahead with the purchase.

The solicitor also said that the surveyor report came back and its not good news (but doesnt mention pyrite directly)

I was just wondering if anyone knows this area and has any advice.

    Cheers.

I'm looking for an apartment in the same area(Melville), and kind of concern about you post.

I don't think any estate agent mention this possible pyrite issue to me.

Keep us informed on the outcome.
