2014 nissan micra radio unlock

Ok so the wife had a new battery put into the micra and now the radio is locked. I have tried the code supplies by a main nissan dealer with results now they want €60 to do it is there any way of doing myself. As always thanks in advance

If you have a programming tools then yes, otherwise no. You pay one or other way that money anyway. Only difference is to support dealer or some local garage/programmer.

Nissan is one "nice" car manufacturer whose cars even authorized dealers can not repair. If it only need the pin, 50:50 it is possible to read. Sure, I can say 100% too but it is not economically reasonable.

I wouldn't be giving nissan 60 quid for a radio code, we never charged for radio codes because it only takes a minute to look up the code

If it does not recognize original code, the memory may corrupted. This is complete different story.

If it's like the earlier Nissans,it's coded to the immob unit. I think dealers had to apply for a code using the immob serial number & they had to pay a fee for it.
