Canon EOS M5 and EOS M50 Smallrig L bracket compatibility

Trying to get an L bracket with an extra grip for my M5. The one that I have my eyes on is compatible with M50. The Smallrig L-Bracket L Plate - LCC2387 is the model. Would anyone know if the above will work on a M5, even if small adjustments are needed? Thanks.
