How long does it take for a failed payment to clear as pending and go back into your account?

Hi, I tried to buy credit with Three last Tuesday and it failed several times on me resulting in me not getting any credit but with the money being taken out of my account as pending. I've checked with Three, they took no money from my account on that day but over a week later I'm still waiting for that money to come back into my account. How much longer do I have to wait to get the money back?

Pending transactions remain on a customer’s account until either: The cleared transaction(s) have been received by the merchant or 5-7 working days have passed. The merchant has 5 working days to accept the payment however, if they do not accept the payment the pending transaction will fall off the account within 5-7 days.

This should correct on your account within the next two days.
